Mastering $25,000+ Amazon Ads in 5 Minutes: My 5-Step Strategy

Lost in Amazon ads? Discover 5 simple steps to manage your campaigns effortlessly. It's organization meets finance, all in just 5 minutes. 🌴

Hey friends,

One thing I'm not a fan of? Overcomplicating things. I feel like I'm in a constant battle with overcomplicating something to only find it can be done in a simple and straightforward way.

And when it comes to running Amazon ads. You can so easily get lost. Is that CTR vs CPC vs ACOS vs ROAS all working out? Who knows. And with hundreds of campaigns to monitor, it's easy to feel overwhelmed. But fear not my friend.

In just 5 minutes and 5 easy steps I'll share my hyperproductive and super lazy approach to how I've managed over $25,000 in ad spend over the past 5 years.

Step 1. Sort Those Campaigns

I've got 511 campaigns, so trust me, trying to eyeball each one is like trying to win a staring contest with an owl. Just sort them all by ACOS, and suddenly the big numbers start to make sense. It's like organizing your sock drawer but with more money involved.

Step 2. ACOS + ROAS = Your New Best Friends

These two metrics are your guiding stars. Have a look at the top ad campaign with an ACOS = 182.99% & ROAS = 0.55 What does this mean? That there is a prime example of numbers you don't want to see.

ACOS = Lower number 📉
ROAS = High number
📈

Step 3. Say Goodbye to the Losers

If your ad has been around for 6+ months. It's time to say goodbye. Don't throw good money after bad. If you're a hopeless romantic - you may tell yourself. Hey, this might still work out. I'll let you do you, but for me, if the lines all point to "this ain't working," then it's time for us to part ways.

Step 4. Celebrate Your Winners

Let's scroll down to the bottom of your ACOS. Look at your top performers and give yourself a big pat on the back. No, really, do it. You deserve it. This are your golden eggs. So feel free to add more $$$ juice to these ones. They've earned it, and so have you. Your good decisions deserve a toast.

Step 5. Shut it Down and Move On

Close that browser, friend. You're done. Take a breather and check back in 6-12 months. Or treat yourself to a nice cup of coffee or tea. You've earned it. Your Amazon Ads are now well-managed, and you didn't even break a sweat.

Wrapping Up

All jokes aside. Managing Amazon Ads doesn't have to be a Herculean task. With these 5 simple steps, you can take control without spending all day staring at charts and numbers. Now go out there, be a little selfish with your time, and use those saved minutes for something you love.

Catch you next time!
